Anybody attending Punjab University in the late 80’s and early 90’s would have been in a social vacuum to not have known Rajesh. He has double masters in Philosophy and Politics (subjects that continue to be close to his heart), and was all set to scale the academic high ground by enrolling for a PhD when fate intervened and he found himself setting up and running one of India’s earliest luxury camps in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. He is a founder / partner at Banjara Camps & Retreats and a very successful restaurateur in Delhi (Cafe Lota, Roots Cafe and Triveni Terrace Cafe). Rajesh loves a debate, poetry and the mountains.
